It’s a significant milestone for us at Cavitech as we celebrate 10 wonderful years with Checkatrade. Our journey with Checkatrade began almost from the outset, in our first year of trading. Our TV Adventure
One of the most memorable moments in our history was being featured on the BBC’s show DIY SOS. It was a fantastic experience that showcased our skills and commitment to helping people improve their homes.
A New Office
We moved from a charming Georgian building with creaky floors and ghostly tales to a modern ex-bank building on the high street. Our new office even boasts a real vault, adding a unique touch to our workspace.
Resilience During Lockdown
The lockdowns presented challenges, but our incredible admin team ensured that our clients were kept informed, and our specialists worked tirelessly to keep homes warm and safe, adhering to the constantly changing rules and restrictions.
Proficiency in Thermal Insulation
We have always strived to be the best in our field, and joining various accrediting bodies in the UK was a testament to our expertise in thermal insulation. We take pride in being at the top of our game.
Working on a Stately Home
Another exciting chapter was the opportunity to work on a stately home. This project allowed us to demonstrate our skills on a grand scale and be part of preserving a piece of history.
Expanding Our Services
Listening to our customers’ needs has always been a priority. Over the years, we expanded our services from removing insulation to installing it as well. This growth has allowed us to better serve our community.
Upgrading Our Fleet
With the expansion of our services came the need for more vehicles and tools. Our new vans and equipment have significantly reduced the waiting time for our services, ensuring we can help more customers, more efficiently.
Media Attention
Our work began to attract media attention as the importance of insulating homes became a hot topic on TV and in written media. We were proud to share our knowledge and contribute to these discussions.
Growing Our Online Presence
Despite being a small, niche business, we reached a milestone of 1000 followers on Facebook. This growth means that more people can benefit from the tips and advice we share, spreading the importance of proper insulation.
